Eleanor Marie Robertson, popular by her pen name Nora Roberts, is a distinguished American author. She has had a highly successful literary career spanning across three decades. She has also used the pseudonyms J. D. Robb, Jill March and Sarah Hardesty for some of her novels. After struggling to be published for some years; Roberts finally got a break when the novel ‘Irish Thoroughbred’ was published in 1981.
