James Douglas Morrison, who was better known as simply Jim Morrison, was one of the most famous rock stars of the 1960s and is of-ten regarded as perhaps the greatest rock star to have ever lived. Morri-son was a singer and song writer par excellence and became famous all over the world as the front man of the musical band ‘The Doors’. Morri-son was famous for the wild live performances that he delivered with the rest of his band members and a liking for drugs and alcohol made him an icon of the ‘swinging ’60s’.
