Paul Stanley is an acclaimed American musician , best known as the guitarist and singer of the rock band ‘Kiss’. He was inclined towards music from an early age, and prolifically played guitar while beautifully writing lyrics for his songs. Initially he worked in a few local bands during which he befriended his to be band-mate Gene Simmons. The duo formed a group called ‘Wicked Lester’ and performed at various places but failed to be commercially successful. They were then joined by guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss to form the rock band ‘Kiss’. The band came out with its first self-titled album which was a prominent hit and was labeled gold on the US and Canada charts. This encouraged them to come up with a couple of other albums and their first live album titled ‘Kiss Alive!’ turned out to be a huge commercial success and magnified their fame. They followed up with their first platinum status album titled ‘Destroyer’. These consecutive successful albums motivated him to come up with his first solo album titled ‘Paul Stanley’ which was well-appreciated by the masses and won a platinum on the US charts.
