Eva Braun was an assistant and model for Adolf Hitler’s personal photographer when she met Hitler. With time, she got close to Hitler and became his longtime partner. Initially, she didn’t accompany him to public events but soon became an active participant in Hitler’s social life. During their relationship, Eva also attempted suicide twice but decided to stay by Hitler’s side towards the end of the Second World War. She married him in a brief ceremony. She remained married to him for 40 hours, after which both of them committed suicide. Eva took a bite of cyanide and Hitler shot himself in the head.
