Marjane Satrapi is a French graphic novelist, originally from Iran, who specializes in children’s book and comics. Some of the most notable works of Satrapi include ‘Chicken with Plums’, ‘The Voices’, ‘Persepolis’ and ‘Embroideries’. Besides being a writer, she is also a renowned director and filmmaker.
