Condoleezza Rice is an U.S diplomat and political scintist. She became the first black woman to serve as the ‘Secretary of State’. After completing her Ph.D, she worked as a political science professor at the University of Stanford for three decades. There she served as the first Afro-American provost and was also appointed as the chief budget and academic officer. During the mid-1980’s she started working as a fellow to the Joint Chiefs Staff which helped her become director of ‘Soviet and East European affairs’ in the ‘National Security Council’ where her roles made her a special assistant to the then president George H.W. Bush. Since then the graph of her political career only rose as she served various roles before her appointment as the ‘Secretary of State’. As the secretary, she focused on ‘Transformational Diplomacy’ to strengthen the democracy. She shifted many U.S diplomats to various parts of the world compelling them to be fluent at foreign languages. Her term came to an end in 2009, and since then she has been actively supporting the Republicans and has confessed to be looking forward to a future as an educator. Following is a compilation of quotations and sayings by the renowned political scientist which have been scanned from her writings, interviews, speeches, work and thoughts.
