Kanye West is an American rapper, producer and singer, regarded as a hip-hop legend. West used to produce music for the local hip-hop bands in Chicago and dropped out of college for the same. Soon, West started to work with Jermaine Dupri and Foxy Brown. His much needed break came when he produced music for ‘Roc-a-fella Records’ in 2000. He started producing hit singles for artists like Alicia Keys and Jay Z. In 2004, his debut album ‘College Drop-Out’ drew both critical acclaim and commercial success. That’s when he founded the record label GOOD MUSIC. Later, with releases like ‘Slow Jamz’, ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Late Registration’, and ‘Graduation’ Kanye was able to make a mark in the rap world. With ‘Jesus Walks’ earning him a ‘Grammy’, his career began to shine. ‘Stage crashing’ and seizing the opportunity to voice out his thoughts on music and politics alike has become his style. He is quite vocal on various issues through mainstream media and social media and some of his quotes and thoughts have really become popular with people. Barely a day goes by when he doesn't say something hilarious, ridiculous or sometime down right silly. This iconic star never seems to lose his sheen and so are his thoughts, sayings and quotations!
Sometimes when I see a bad performance and people still clap... I wonder if they're clapping because they liked what they saw or because they're happy it's over?
