Alan Moore is a British novelist and graphic book author, best known for his works such as ‘V for Vendetta’, ‘Lost Girls’, ‘Swamp Thing’ and ‘Gentlemen’. Alan started his career as a comic writer and illustrator. He is also renowned as a cartoonist, comic writer, musician, magician and screen writer. From 1982-85, Alan worked on his highly-acclaimed comics book ‘V for Vendetta’. Between 1982 and 1984, he worked on ‘Marvelman/Miracleman’. Alan produced graphic story books ‘Swamp Things’ and created ‘Watchmen’ an acclaimed comics’ book series. In 1988, he published ‘Batman: The Killing Joke’. Alan created four comics series in 1999 namely ‘Top 10’, ‘Promethea’ , ‘Tom Strong’ , and ‘The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’. In 2003, he produced ‘The Courtyard’ and ‘Neonomicon’ in 2010. From 2012-13, he published ‘Fashion Beast’. Alan’s comics ‘Providence’ garnered immense popularity. Alan also has few novels to his credit that include ‘Voice of the Fire’ and ‘Jerusalem’. In 2003, he published a non-fiction book titled ‘Alan Moore's Writing for Comics’.
